Huskies and Movember Win Big at The Drum Awards 2021
We couldn’t be more proud to win the Best Use of Digital OOH at The Drum Awards for Digital Advertising 2021 for our work with Movember on their ‘Conversation Piece’ campaign. It’s always great to win awards, but it’s even better when it’s for something as important as Movember and mental health.
The Drum Awards for Digital Advertising is a global awards programme that honours digital advertising when creativity and technology come together to drive results. Our win this year is a testament to this captivating campaign, which was completed and launched during lockdown at a time when people were feeling increasingly isolated and their mental health was under even greater strain.
The ‘Conversation Piece’ brought together some of Ireland’s leading artists to share their own experiences of mental health, and to create digital artwork inspired by them. While the art and accompanying words were picked up by television chat shows, the press, influencers and across social, the digital outdoor campaign prompted a national conversation around mental health.
Judges at The Drum Awards described the campaign as, “A timely and really important topic, and a campaign that drove great results. Charities were hit particularly hard last year so to have doubled donations is an exceptional achievement,” and this year also saw twice as many people participate in Movember’s annual fund-raising month, doubling donations.
