A creative agency with deep digital DNA
In the Company of Huskies wins two international awards at the OBIE Virtual Ceremony 2020.
Thank you to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America for awarding our work with St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) and Smurfit Kappa in the OBIE Awards.
Christmas is a critical time for donations for SVP and our campaign ‘Some things shouldn’t be a family tradition’ was designed to remind people that there is another side to Christmas. For most of us, it’s a wonderful time of year, but some families face the prospect of a hungry and cold Christmas. The SVP Annual Appeal included the award-winning poster on Dublin’s Liberty Hall, which used the building’s distinct architecture to make it look like an empty cupboard, highlighting the alarming increase of food poverty across Ireland.
‘Some things shouldn’t be a family tradition’ campaign increased public support and much-needed donations for SVP at this key time.
The other campaign to receive an OBIE was Smurfit Kappa’s ‘Better Planet Packaging’. Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing environmental issues, and this global initiative was set up by Smurfit Kappa to explore and re-imagine packaging solutions for a more sustainable world. The award-winning outdoor ‘Let’s Make Waste Extinct’ shows that our choice of packaging can make a big difference, not just for the ocean but for our environment as a whole.
For nearly 80 years, OBIEs have been recognizing creative brilliance in outdoor so it is an honour to win two coveted international OBIE Awards. Thanks to our clients at Smurfit Kappa and SVP.
