Together We Stand with Movember
During these difficult times, our mental health is as important as ever. Movember, the global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health recently conducted research and found that “Eight out of 10 (84 per cent) men find it helpful when people ask if they’re having a difficult time – yet nearly half (45 per cent) say no one has checked to find out how they are coping.” To raise awareness of this Huskies teamed up with Movember Ireland and a host of Ireland’s cultural and creative pioneers to highlight the importance of staying connected by creating a series of light installations projected onto several iconic locations across Dublin.
The ‘Conversation Piece” campaign was launched with ‘Together We Stand’ designed by Huskies and projected onto the iconic Poolbeg Chimneys. This will be followed in the coming weeks with a series of collaborations with artists and designers collaborations such as Sebastian Barry, Vivienne Roche, Gavin Friday, James Early, Stephen James Smith, Aches, Mundy, Tiny Ark and many more.
Neil Rooney of Movember said: “Our findings demonstrate that men are hungry for connection and in need of support in these trying times. We know that men can often feel uncomfortable or awkward discussing their mental health. Through our collaboration with Huskies, we are encouraging people to check in on their loved ones and come together through meaningful conversation.
A conversation can make all the difference. We can’t assume that people are grand, don’t want to be hassled or don’t want to talk. There’s never been a more important time to reach out to your friends.”

Collaborating with Movember has enabled us to harness the healing effect of art to create visually impactful content that has the potential to bring people together and help improve their mental and physical health.”
